Weekly Update - May 19th

Week ending on May 19th, 2024.

Completed this week

  • Improvements to the Wholesale store are underway.

    • We are shifting to a wholesale site with ThrillKicker branding.

      • Orders for all products would still be available for Apocalypitc Ape holders.

        • Hot Sauce

        • Doc's Apothecary

        • Bites & Cookies

    • Enabling access for retail outlets with separate pricing structures.

    • Allowing the same order fulfillment processes as the main apocalyptic.shop . This is a VERY complex web of shipping customizations since there are multiple fulfillment vendors.

  • Development of 2 other products is in the final stages. We are waiting for final approval before we enable them in the Shop.

    • 2 variety packs of hot sauces. We are waiting for approval from United on labels.

      • 3 pack - 1 mild, 1 medium, and 1 hot flavor will be in the variety pack.

      • 10 pack - 1 of each of the flavors.

    • A secret product that will be the hot new item for the summer season.

  • We established a working relationship with Snapback Energy. Be on the lookout for some tremendous opportunities.

  • We found a bug in the automated process to fulfill beard products. This only affects edge cases, so we can still fulfill most orders.

    • We are working on a fix for this, but it seems to be a limitation in the automation.

  • We are setting up other e-commerce sales channels: Amazon, TikTok, and Facebook.

    • Walmart and TikTok shops are nearing completion. Still waiting on confirmation from the stores before we can sell on those platforms.

    • Amazon is giving us some problems with the setup. We are working with their support to set it up.

  • We have closed the early access for a 20% commission on hot sauces. Sign up for the Primal Partner Program to secure a 10% commission.

  • Discussions with a distributor have started. They are interested in both food and other consumer goods. We have had good conversations so far.

  • Research and testing for environmentally friendly packaging options.

  • Discuss with Fity how to handle the Hot Sauce NFTs.

Challenges

  • Wholesale store changeover is a massive undertaking. The store has been brought down while we work on getting everything changed over.

  • United is being very slow to respond to any inquiries about the new products. We continue to wait for them before launching anything.
